Dr. Joann Sansone graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985.  She completed her internship and residency at Osteopathic Medical Center and Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia.  Dr. Sansone is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Sansone and Dr. Giuffrida established East Norriton Women’s Health Care in 1997.  Dr Sansone is trained in advanced Robotic Surgical procedures and currently serves as Director of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery at Mercy Suburban Hospital.   Dr. Sansone also served as Chairman of the Department for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercy Suburban Hospital.
