Shobhana Parameshwaran, M.D. is a UK Board Certified OB/GYN physician with 20 years of experience. Dr. Parameshwaran completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the UK. She completed her Advanced Training in Maternal Medicine, Advanced Antenatal Practice (high-risk Obstetrics) and Advanced Labor Ward practice.

Dr. Parameshwaran continues to focus on caring for women through pre-conceptual counseling, early pregnancy management, high-risk pregnancies, complicated deliveries, post-natal care and more.

Her expertise includes the management of medical disorders in pregnancy such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes and obesity in pregnancy. She provides general Gynecology care for women with menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, post-menopausal bleeding, endometriosis and more. She has excellent surgical skills and believes in treating patients as individuals and not focusing solely on their presenting obstetric or gynecologic symptoms.
