Dr. Dominick Giuffrida attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed a Research Fellowship in Pharmacology, and graduated in 1990. He completed his residency for Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Suburban General Hospital (now Mercy Suburban Hospital), in 1995 and served as Ob/Gyn Residency Program Director for eight years. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Giuffrida joined Dr. Sansone to establish East Norriton Women’s Health Care in 1997. Dr. Parameshwaran joined with Dr. Giuffrida following Dr. Sansone’s retirement in 2023 to continue the legacy.
In addition to his office practice, Dr. Giuffrida is specialty trained in Advanced Robotic Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery, including No Scar Single Incision robotic surgeries. He initiated the gynecologic robotic program at Phoenixville Hospital and served as the Director of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery. He also serves on the Robotics Committee for Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. Dr Giuffrida is a surgical proctor for Intuitive Surgical, the maker of the da Vinci robot and has proctored many gynecologic surgeons in our area. He has extensive experience with the da Vinci robot and has performed over 1000 robotic surgeries.
